Rhona Mitra news, pics and movies!
Synopsis In Descent and Dog Soldiers, director Neil Marshall explored terror on a small scale. In Doomsday, all of the United Kingdom is threatened by a virus so dangerous that Scotland has been quarantined for decades. Veterans of Marshall's last two films star, along with Rhona Mitra, Bob Hoskins, Alexander Siddig, and Malcolm McDowell. HORROR FIENDS REVIEW It has to be said that this is a GOOD film. Mad Max meets Escape from Newyork meets 28 Days Later. A high budget Brit Flick will thrills, Spills, Blood & Guts. Filmed beautifully against the back drop of Scotland, this film does not fail to deliver. The cast are solid and do a fine job EPIC story off. The likes of Malcolm Mcdowell (Clockwork Orange, Heroes) makes an appearence as does one of my favourtie Monster Fodder actors, Sean Pertwee (Dog Soldiers, The Mutant Chronicles). This really is a Diamond in the rough and goes to show that Hollywood has competition once again from accross the pond. I highly recommend this feast and guarantee you will enjoy the meal. RATING – 8 Stars (Marginally let down by blatent rip off of films mentioned earlier) Do you AGREE or DISAGREE with my review? Please comment and add your own thoughts
